Panasonic during their Innovation Summit held in Barcelona announced a new tablet from its Toughpad series. Panasonic also announced that Toughpad FZ-B2 rugged tablet. just a week before the latest one.
The latest Toughpad FZ-A2 rugged tablet has a 10.1-inch display with 1920x1200 pixels resolution. The 10-point capacitive touchscreen display can be used by hand, gloved hand or with the capacitive stylus for accurate annotation or signature collection.
It has an ability to undergo various customizations. With its fully rugged durability, flexible business customization options, and top performance, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 tablet is an ideal mobile device for automotive workshop receptions and showrooms. It is also equally suited for the professionals working in the retail and hospitality industry for point of sale.
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 is lightweight with only 880g and slim at 16.4mm thickness. It comes with a fanless design and runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Enterprise Security from Android for work. It is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8550 quad-coreprocessor clocked at 2.4GHz and coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
Connectivity options inside the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 have been tailored to exact business requirements. It has a full range of business features like 1xUSB 3.0 Type A, 1xUSB 3.1 Type C OTG, 1xHDMI and 1xMicro SD, GPS, optional smart card reader, 2D barcode reader, and 4G. It has also USB Type C OTG port for reversible connection.
Toughpad FZ-A2 is equipped with Google Android for Work allowing separate work and personal profiles. Google for Work further provides a range of productivity tools for everyday tasks such as email, contacts, and calendar. The rugged tablet has a full HD front web and an 8MP rear camera with flash.
