Fossil Q Founder smartwatch that was announced back in October with a few other accessorized watches has now received Android Wear 1.5 update. The latest Android Wear 2.0 update is yet-to-come but before that, Google is sending a minor update to almost all of its Android Wear smartwatches. Android Wear 1.5 update isn't the huge update as the Android Wear 2.0 which will offer a complete UX overhaul.
Android Wear 1.5 update is based on Android 6.0.1 update and contains only a few incremental tweaks. The Settings menu once again has started showing the restart option. Fossil Q Founder smartwatch users can see the security patch date in the About screen. Some of the users who have updated their device noticed that the notification syncing problems with Android N are now resolved.
Google has sent the Android Wear 1.5 update to many of its smartwatches, these includeSamsung Gear Live, Asus Zenwatch 2 , Moto 360, and more.
Google may be prepping its Android Wear smartwatches for the major update that will bring huge changes with itself.
