So far LeEco announced a number of smartphones and some of them were really beast as far as hardware specs is a concern. The latest device announced by the company was the Le Max 2. The device was packed with the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 Soc with 6GB of RAM. Recently we shared a news that company could release an 8GB variant of Le Max later this year.
Well, if you are living in states, we have good news for you, LeEco is looking forward to announcing their flagship smartphone in the US and as per latest reports, the company is looking for talent which will support the company’s flagship smartphone launch is the US later in fall.
The Chinese manufacturer is not only looking to launch their smartphone but also planning to start a video streaming service in the US. This streaming service will be available for not only the LeEco smartphone users but for others as well.
Recently PR Director of LeEco Todd Witkemper stated that their company is looking forward to making “a big splash” in the US later this year. At the moment, the company has 400 employees in the US and they are planning to expand this number to 1000 by the end of this year.
In December 2015, rumours start popping up that LeEco will be announcing their first smartphone Le Max Pro in the US but that never happened but now it looks like company future devices will be heading to the US as well. As per reports, the LeEco targeted customers will be luxurious millennial buyers in the US who can pay extra for latest hardware specs that is why we can’t expect LeEco smartphone could be released via carriers because these devices will be sold carrier unlocked.
