Cubot had launched the S550 smartphone last year, which had a nice design with average specifications. Now the company is planning to launch a new upgraded variant of the smartphone called the Cubot S550 Pro that offers some enhanced specifications.
The Cubot S550 Pro smartphone will be launched in the first week of July, according to reports. The smartphone has an upgraded 3GB of RAM and has expandable microSD support to 128 GB.
The device has the same design with a sleek metal body, as well as a 5.5 inch HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 2.5 D dual curve protective glass. It is powered by aMediatek MT6735 processor with 3GB of RAM for faster processing and 16 GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB. The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera.
The Cubot S550 Pro smartphone has a rear fingerprint scanner with a fast unlock speed of 0.3 seconds. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. Connectivity wise the device supports Dual SIM with dual Standby, Bluetooth, WiFi and USB. The smartphone comes with an inbuilt light sensor, distance sensor, accelerometer and compass sensors. It is backed by a3000 mAh battery. The smartphone is available in Black and White color variants.
