Lenovo releases Moto G4 in India at INR 12,499

The upper mid-ranger Moto G4 Plus was unveiled for Indian smartphone market in May this year and now Lenovo is looking forward to releasing another Moto branded smartphone and that will be the G4 with the more affordable price tag of ₹12,499.

As being a mid-ranger device, the Moto 4 is not packed with high-end specs like the mid-ranger Moto 4 Plus. The first prominent change is the removal of the fingerprint scanner.

The Qualcomm’s mid-ranger Snapdragon 617 Soc is powering the device at a clocking speed of 1.5GHz. The Mote G4 is featuring a full HD 5.5 inches display similar like the Plus variant. The battery on the device is 3000mAh with Turbo Charging capabilities. The internal memory storage of device can be expanded using a dedicated external Micro SD card.

Let’s have a look at the key differences amongst the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. The Android Marshmallow is on board of both device as OS. Now as far as display is a concern, the Moto G4, and G4 Plus are featuring a full HD 5.5 inches display with Gorilla Glass 3 and 401 pixels per inch.

Both the devices are powered by same Qualcomm’s Octa core Snapdragon 617 Soc comprises of eight Cortex A53 cores with a clocking speed of 1.5GHz. The Adreno 405 is embedded as GPU. The device is featuring a 16GB internal memory with 2GB RAM whereas the Moto G4 Plus featuring 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The rear secondary primary sensor is also changed to 13MP from 16MP sensor. The front-facing camera of the device is 5MP. The battery capacity on both devices is also same.

As having the same display that’s why both have similar dimensions and weight as well at 153 x 76.6 x 7.9 mm and155 grams. The devices are available in White and black color variants.

Like the G4 Plus, the G4 will also be exclusively available via Amazon in India. The device will cost customers ₹12,499 but we will recommend you to pay a difference of ₹2,500 more and grab the G4 Plus variant.
