Considering their verdict, Mi Band 2 launched at an exact timeframe. However, we never had any details of the Xiaomi’s alleged Mi smartwatch as the internet was roaring for Mi Band 2 only. Xiaomi’s CEO himself posted a few pictures of their new band, but we never received any hearsay for the first smartwatch of the Chinese company Xiaomi. But, it seems like the time has come to make some noise for the smartwatch or the fitness tracker as well.
A China based analyst Pan Jiutang is throwing some light on the plans of Xiaomi that what could be the features of their first ever smartwatch. He said that the smarwatch is nearly at its completion stage and will get unveiled soon. Here, we depict that the term “soon” could mean Q3 or Q4 2016.
Furthermore, he also conveyed that the power consumption will be comparable to Garmin’s wearables. According to the analyst, the prices will be as 999 Yuan ($152) and 1,599 Yuan ($243) though he didn’t mention why there are two different prices. This only depicts that Xiaomi intends to bring two variants of their first smartwatch.
