Xiaomi unveils MIUI 8 OS last month and today as promised the ROM as a public open BETA is now available to download, so you can get it and test it ahead of the official release.
Currently, the new ROM is only available to their specific device models includes, Mi 2, Mi 2S,Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 5, Mi Note and Mi Max. Those of you with any one of this device they candownload the ROM copy from the following link.
One of the most prominent change, the MIUI 8 is bringing is the new app for the gallery. With the new app, users can share images by just a single swipe and the filters of snapped photo can be changed by simply tapping on the photo.
According to the schedule of Xiaomi at launching day, the Developer ROM should be made available on June 17.
You need to have the MIUI ROM Flashing Tool to install this ROM on your device and won’t have Google services preinstalled, also if installation goes wrong it may brick your device.

- Incomplete translations, you might see lots of Chinese
- Potential bugs, which might brick your phone
