Asus ZenFone 2 Laser Marshmallow update removes a lot of bloatware

Last year, Asus released a list of smartphones which would be upgraded to Android Marshmallow. Now working on that list, Asus has released Marshmallow update for the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE500KL). The update carries version number WW_13.10.6.16_M3.6.44and good thing is that there will be less bloatware this time.
As per the official announcement, you will not get following apps on Zenfone 2 Laser after Marshmallow update:
  • Omlet
  • Data Transfer
  • Photo Frame
  • ASUS Backup
  • Dr. Safety
  • What's Next
  • Party Link
  • Remote Link
  • PC Link
  • Yahoo Shopping
  • EZ Ding
  • TripAdvisor
  • Zinio
  • iReader
  • Dr.eye
  • Google+
  • Puffin Browser
  • Mirror
  • Google settings (Integrated in ASUS Settings)
  • Asus Email
  • Asus Calendar
  • Asus Messaging
Other than this, there are three new apps which you will get: Google Calendar, Google Messenger, and Dr. Booster. Asus has also suggested users to move their apps to internal storage before installing the update because Marshmallow does not support App to SD card feature.
While you should receive the update notification anytime, you can always check for updates manually by visiting Settings->About->System Update to update manually.
