XCSOURCE 2.4 GHz Wireless Digital Video Baby Monitor Audio Talk Night Vision XC307

XCSOURCE 2.4 GHz Wireless Digital Video Baby Monitor Audio Talk Night Vision XC307

Coming in an absolutely tiny box, this baby monitor is still a nice size, its image similar to an old mobile's screen, which is perfectly adequate for the purpose of keeping an eye on baby.

The video unit has a built-in rechargeable battery, and both units come with their own power adapters. The camera has grooves for screws, making it highly suitable for a more permanent placement too.

The monitor is very easy to use. When you switch it on, it seems to pair automatically with the camera, which immediately transmits image, sound and room temperature reading to the monitor. Mic sensitivity is quite high judging from the feedback I got when I tested them in such close proximity, which means it should pick up baby's sounds quite well.

Mic sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings. One can press the mic button on the monitor unit to speak through, the camera also having an integrated speaker, and you can also play a lullaby. Very nice.

The ring of LED's around the camera are the infrared lights which will come on automatically when it's sufficiently dark, allowing you to see what happens in baby's room in the dark too.

All in all, I think this is a good baby monitor. The picture is bright and sharp, in fact better than I have seen on bigger baby monitors in the past, and the sound pickup seems good, though I was not able to fully test this as I'd have had to be in two locations at the same time to try it properly.
