Flylinktech Portable Projector Support HD 1080p for iPhone/Andorid Phone/Pad/Laptop PC Built in 2500mAh Rechargeable Battery-black

Pros
• Very small projector
• Great picture quality for the size
• Great sound quality for the size
• 2500 mAh battery
• Powered from USB power source (using supplied cable).
• HDMI input (full sized socket)
• 3 x RCA AV input, via supplied adapter cable
• Good quality feel
• Fitted with standard tripod screw-thread for use with other tripods
Cons
• Tripod not up to the job, is of inferior quality and should be discarded.
• Fan noise level
• Sensitive to power supply requirements
• Instructions missing – though provided via email from supplier.

The projector is tiny, measuring only 13 x 6 x 2 cm, so genuinely can slip into a pocket. Despite it’s small size it includes
• Full sized HDMI socket
• Full sized USB socket for external audio/video source material
• Micro-USB socket for charging
• 3.5 mm Audio Visual Input socket
• Micro SD card slot

In addition the case has:-
• Full function touchpad control panel
• Thumbwheel focus control
• 3 x LED status indicator
• On/Off slider switch.

The projector also includes an internal 2500mAh battery.

In the pack along with the projector is
• Micro-USB power cable
• 3 x RCA to 3.5mm audio/video adapter cable
• Small tripod
• Remote control

Though it accepts full HD 1080p input, it only displays 854x480 pixels, which may not sound like a lot, but they are very good pixels in this case, the resampling does a good job of maintaining sharpness and text legibility, and colour and brightness are also quite good considering the diminutive size of this thing.

It comes with a tripod that is very unsuitable for it, being too light to be stable, especially since the tripod mount is far off centre towards the front of the unit, and once you add an HDMI cable, the whole thing is always ready to topple over, but any larger photo tripod should do the trick, and do it rather well, and as it's a tripod that would cost only one or two pounds on its own, I won't subtract any stars for it. Just throw it away if you have something better.

I found that though the USB power cable was connected, it struggled to run off the mains power unless the battery was already filled up a bit, switching the screen off automatically after a few seconds, so keeping the battery charged seems necessary to keep it going, which is a shame as a unit like this should be able to work independently on mains power even if the battery is flat. That said, the battery should be good for some screen time, and if the power cable is connected at the same time, that should hopefully keep it topped up enough to run for even longer.
