Xiaomi Notebook is rumoured to launch

Xiaomi notebook has been rumoured from a while back. And now a new leak has revealed that the affordable Xiaomi notebook is going to be unveiled in the summer vacation. The reliable source @MochaRQ, a Chinese tipster, has taken the microblogging site- Weibo to post this update and he has also mentioned that the conference for this will be held in around a month- “The first young man notebook”. And this suggests that the first ever Xiaomi notebook might be launched in mid-July 2016, that’s next month and will be listed for sale eventually.

Well, this tipster has also provided some accurate leaks previously, and hence believing that this time too, he goes right. Additionally, this will lead into real excitements among the customers as Xiaomi is expected to introduce high-end specifications in the notebook at a very affordable rate.

Prior to this leak, we have reported that Xiaomi postpones the notebook launch to H2 2016.Previous leaks had also suggested that there might be two different upcoming models of the Xiaomi notebook which will run on Core i5 and Core i7 processors and will get a price tag of around $450. The rumour further elaborated a display size of around 12.5-inches with aluminium body and a design similar to Apple’s MacBook Air.

Now when Xiaomi has kept its first step into the notebook segment, other players naming Lenovo, Dell and Apple must be worrying about their sales figures and market share. Apple might face a tough competition for its MacBook Pro 2016 notebooks, as the Xiaomi notebook is rumoured to pack with powerful Skylake processors.

Supply chain industry suggests that the device will have estimation for the first year shipments of around 1 million units. However, the forecast will be more specific once the specs and price factors are revealed. More shipments are expected if Xiaomi manages to fix the price tag upto 3,000 Yuaan.
