Shazam for Android now automatically discover what music is currently being played

Shazam is a mobile app that can identify the music playing around you, also expanded to integrations with cinema, advertising, TV and retail environments. It uses smartphone’s microphone to collect the music sample playing around you, no it creates an acoustic fingerprint based on the sample and its algorithm compares the sample with a central database for a match. If it matches with any music, it sends data such as artist name, song title, and album right to the user.

Today Shazam has rolled out an update for android, it added a new feature that canautomatically discover what music is currently being played. Now this allows you to fetch the new music without having to tap on Shazam button.

Clement Haider, Shazam's Senior Product Manager for Android said about this release:

"Auto Shazam is a feature that continues to make Shazam one of the best companions to discover new music. We're delighted to have it now available to our Android users. It makes it very convenient to use — whether you're binge-watching TV shows and want to make sure you're capturing all the cool tracks or you're in your car listening to radio. You can focus on the road and enjoy the music. Shazam created for you an Auto playlist in My Shazam with all the songs you've been listening to."

To use this feature on your app, just enable the auto selector option from the home screen. Now your app is ready to collect songs whenever you hear the beautiful beats.
