Weighing just 104g this Parkman H2 8000mAh Travel External Portable Charger Pack Power Bank is very lightweight, compact, portable and can easily fit inside your pocket alongside your phone. It comes with a short, flat charging cable, however, as with all of these battery packs, is not for iPhones. The charging cable will only fit Android and Windows phones and others that use the Micro USB format. It would be nice to see a manufacturer having a cable that supports both as they do exist (see my other reviews).
On unboxing, the battery pack was charged to a level that I couldn't determine through the blue LED lights. All 4 lights were on, but I wanted to ensure I gave it a proper test from fully charged, so I drained the battery by charging up my phone one evening. When the battery was fully flat, I charged it over night and then proceeded to test it.
In total I manage to charge my iPhone 6 about 1.5 times.
- iPhone 6 at 2%, charged to 100% over night
- iPhone 6 at 3%, charged to 46% during the day
So, about 1.5 times before you need to charge it again. the 4 blue LED lights indicate charge, however, its rather difficult to determine how accurate they are. After the first charge shown above, 2 blue LED lights were on, yet that only managed another half charge.
The price is comparable with its capacity. I've had ones higher, but they cost more and the lipstick ones have been cheaper.
In summary, the style and design of this win out for me. It's small, compact and still has a decent capacity. I do believe its the best of both worlds.

I have quite a few portable battery chargers that I use when I'm on trips or long journeys away from home. I usually keep a battery topped up in my work bag along with a spare phone charging cable for emergencies and its come in handy quite a few times! I decided to try out the Parkman H1 to see how it would perform against some of my other chargers and was pleased with the results!
- Design & Performance -
The Parkman charger has a slim and sleek profile that is portable and easy to carry. The battery housing is made of matte plastic with a smooth rubberised coating giving the product some extra grip. Due to the products slim size and outer coating, it is very easy to carry in a trouser pocket without fear of it slipping out.
I used this charger with several different phones and devices. Each gadget I connected charged up with no issues. There are 2 USB ports on the device. One offers 1 Amp charging whilst the other offers 2.1 Amps. If you're an Apple user your iPhone will want 1 Amp while your iPad will want 2.1 Amps for charging.
As a typical PC USB slot will only provide around 0.5 Amps for charging devices. You will probably notice an improvement in charge times if you use the Parkman charger instead of a PC or laptop when charging your gadgets.
I've found this device quite useful for charging my portable action camera whilst on the move. It’s a great charger that’s easy to take out for a quick battery top up whilst traveling.

I'm really impressed with the Parkman 4000mA charger. It is very slim for its battery capacity and looks great too. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a medium sized portable battery charger that is smart and compact.
