DZAT's new flagship are the stunning DF-10. Unlike previous models, these have completely different drivers. On the sound quality, they seem to be direct competitors to the amazing VJJB K4S. How do they compare? It depends what you're going after: DF-10 has much better mids and highs, while maintaining balanced bass response, while the K4S has a monstrous bass and sub-bass, in the expanse of quiter mids and highs.
Shortly put, not only that DZAT DF-10 look absolutely stunning, they are also among the best earphones I've ever heard. They have everything - lows, mids and highs. You are guaranteed to enjoy.
The included tips are great, they keep the earphones inside, but after a while I feel like the earphones slide out a bit and I lose the initial seal.
The bass is present, but is very controlled and balanced. No significant sub-bass can be fealt, yet the bass is just enough to fill the rest of the spectrum with warmth, and to reproduce percussion instruments precisely.
The mids are very warm, yet are overall bright and precise. Not pushed back by the bass at all, they remain dominant and detailed at all times.
Sharp and crisp, very precise and detailed. Bright, without any signs of darkish coloring. Very exciting and dominant, thus can sometimes sound just too sharp.
