unboxing
The speaker comes in a hard cardboard box. Minimalist, functional and elegant, the purest Xiaomi style.
Once we opened the box we meet directly with the speaker.
If we remove the speaker, just below there is a small box containing the instruction manual and USB charging cable - Micro USB.
The instruction manual is available in both Chinese and English. Almost we do not need, just to know how to turn it on we will see later.
Physical appearance
The speaker has a slightly oval triangular shape. Very nice aesthetically.
This is the bottom of the speaker, where we find the controls and a small LED indicator (the hole).
On one side we find the connections to the speaker. A Micro USB port for charging and a 3.5mm jack to connect to our devices without Bluetooth.
The top (Touch) has a brushed aluminum finish very premium and elegant.
Testing the speaker
What I have done is to first load the speaker before the first use. Once loaded to 100% as shown in the manual have tried their operation.
To turn (also to turn it off) must hold the Play button on the bottom for at least 3 seconds. At that time the LED on the bottom flashes blue. It means it is ready to be paired via Bluetooth. The next few times you try to kindle automatically pair with the last device that we used.
Once connected we can start to play music and sound from the speaker.
I chose the app Musicall to play music but works with any sound play from the device.
Moreover, since the top is touch, we can give a light touch to change the color of light given off by the speaker.
As an additional function, we can use the speaker as a speakerphone, as the play button allows us to pick up incoming calls on your smartphone.
The application
There is available an application to control extra functions that have the speaker.

With it we can control the tone and intensity of the light color speaker. We can also make a cozy candle effect, flashes, etc.
We also have an interesting section to set alarms and how we want to wake us loudspeaker (only with light, music, etc).
In the application itself also have a section dedicated to the control of the music we listen to the speaker.
Sound test
I was very surprised that the volume is able to achieve this speaker, for how small I expected much more demure. Definitely a plus point.
While it is true that distorts the volume to stop depending on the song, I think it has a very good quality for the price range we are handling.
