Blackview is planning to launch the successor to the ultra budget A8 smartphone, called the A8 Max with a bigger 5.5 inch HD display and enhanced specifications in August this year.
The Blackview A8 Max is a sleek device with a metal alloy frame that gives it a premium look. The smartphone will be powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card slot. The company is also adding some more LTE Bands so the list of supported should be now 1/3/7/8/20. The device will be backed by a 3000 mAh battery and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Blackview A8 Max will be available in three colors: Pearl White, Champagne Gold and Violet Black at a budget price of just $89.99.
The smartphones predecessor the Blackview A8 was unveiled at the MWC event earlier this year. The A8 has a smaller 5-inch display, with quad core processor and 1GB of RAM. The device has a similar metal frame body, with 8 MP front and rear cameras with dual LED Flash and a 2000 mAh battery. Connectivity wise the smartphone has dual sim with dual standby, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G support. The Blackview A8 was launched at a budget price of $43.
