As far as spec sheet is concerned, there are some clear noticeable changes in the two smartwatches. The D5+ boasts of a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM as compared to last year's MT6572 with 512MB RAM. No.1 has also doubled theinternal storage to 8GB this time which means more space for installing apps and storing other data. The watch runs Android Wear based on Lollipop v5.1.
The benefits of using a better SoC and bigger RAM can be seen in the AnTuTu benchmark test of the No.1 D5+. The smartwatch managed to score 22,694 which is quite impressive. You can watch the video of the test below.
It is true the synthetic benchmark tests are not a measure of a gadget's real-life performance but still, as they say, it is fun to play with numbers. The No.1 D5+ has been priced at $107which is about 727 Yuan for people in China.
