First images of iPad Pro 2 surface in China

Rumors about the next Apple iPad Pro 2 have been making the rounds for a while, now images of the new device with the model number MH1C2CD/F have been leaked online, reportedly by an anonymous tipster working in Apple's Asia supply chain.

The model number MH1C2CD/F, is not linked to any current or previous iPad models, however it follows the naming convention followed by Apple. Though we ask you to take the report with a pinch of salt as forging a device identifier is a relatively easy process, and we ask you to wait till Apple confirms the device.


The Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to be launched in September this year, along with the next generation Apple iPhone 7 running the latest iOS 10 and according to rumors a new A10x processing chipset. It is expected to have 256 GB of storage and be smaller than the iPad Pro 12.9 and iPad Pro 9.7. It will have a 12MP rear camera powered by iSight and a 5MP front camera with FaceTime HD and Retina Flash with a 4K video recording option. The device will be available in rose gold color, with similar design language as the new iPhone and Macbook lineup.
