Huawei has finally announced Honor 5C network variants and also that it will be using Kirin 650 chipset. The Huawei Kirin 650 is built on the 16nm FinFET plus process from TSMC and it uses Mali-T830MP2 dual core GPU. This Chip comes with an i5 co-processor and HiSEE security solutions which enables you to clear mobile payments, call encryption and more.
Huawei Kirin Chipset crosses 80 million mark in shipments
Kirin 650 Chipset also features wireless chip Hi1102 that eventually supports GPS, FM,Infrared, Compass, etc. It is an ideal chipset for today’s generation as it uses less power by decreasing the power consumption by 70% and also increases performance by 65%. The few features supported by Kirin 650 are: face recognition, multi-domain noise reduction, RetinDR brightness and some more to be revealed soon.
At the event, Huawei also announced the huge milestone achieved as the shipment of Kirin 650 Chipset crosses 80 million mark. Huawei started making chipsets not very long ago and hence it is a very big achievement for the company.
