Huawei’s upcoming event at MWC 2016 has been set for February 21st and to confirm that, the Chinese manufacturer has teased an invite for the event, where it’s going to launch a device that equipped with a Stylus. Could be the long rumored Huawei Matebook laptop? The invites however states the scheduled event date on Feb. 21st, 2016.
The invitation reads this, “The new style of business” was published by Huawei CEO Richard Yu on hisWeibo account. Speculations already there that Huawei is going to mock Microsoft’s Surface Pro to introduce a hybrid-laptop. Dubbed Matebook with stylus, which is touted to be a business-focused laptop and not be an Android tablet.
If everything comes true, then the Huawei Matebook is expected to have a 12.9-inch display, versus Apple’s iPad Pro, Intel chipset and runs on Windows 10. It’s being advetised as a hybrid-laptop, could come with a detachable touchscreen and can be used as a tablet otherwise.
Lenovo Yoga series has such features and we have already seen some high-end hybrid laptops in the past by Microsoft Surface Pro, which converts into a notebook and at the same time as a slate. Currently, there are no details regarding the Huawei’s hybrid laptop specifications have surfaced, but we can witness and hear officially on the given launch date on February 21st by Huawei.
