Apple is although expected to release the final iOS 9.3 software update to all users next month at its iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 March 15th media event. With the Night Shift, the iOS firmware brings a new mode that changes the display color temperature, enables evening and night use while reducing blue light and its gestures.
Update X1: It appears to have Apple updated icon for Control Center Night Shift toggle in iOS 9.3 beta 4.
While the Notes app gaining the ability to hide individual notes behind a secure password protection with Touch ID, and unlock those with a fingerprint reader on iPhones and iPads. 3D Touch is getting more capable as well and with new uick Action shortcuts on additional stock Apple apps like Settings offers direct access to battery, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi options.
For Verzion customers, iPhones will be able to use Wi-Fi Calling, that’s already made available to AT&T and T-Mobile US customers.
Those already on iOS 9.3 registered with Apple Developer account, can head over to developer.apple.com to download the new beta 4 IPSW file for your devices. Running on previous beta version of iOS 9.3, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update to grab the update directly using OTA (over-the-air) update mechanism.
Apple has not made available of the new beta 4 update to members of Public Beta program yet but it’s only a matter of time they do that. We will update the post as soon as iOS 9.3 Public Beta 4 is seeded to testers.
Major update brings with it a number of new features, including multi-user login support on iPad for MDM customers, abilty to connect two Apple Watch units to a single iPhoe, enhancements to first-party apps such as Apple News, Notes and Health and some enhancements to CarPlay, among other inclusions.
What’s new in iOS 9.3 beta 4 compared to beta 3 version are in testing process, we are digging new seed and as soon as we find any big changes, we will add them down as updates in this post.
