Beta 4 Of OS X 10.11.4, tvOS 9.2 And watchOS 2.2 Is Rolling Out Now

Apple just started seeding iOS 9.3 beta 4 also of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, watchOS 2.2, tvOS 9.2 to developers, can now boot to install the latest firmware on their compatible devices.
Took almost 2 weeks to release the latest beta version of all three firmwares, continuing with the company’s trend to push out incremental updates to pre-releas software and accepting things can be finlaized and released to the public. Users looking to download beta 4 pre-releases can either head over to the Apple Developer portal now to grab the new bits, or directly update from their devices via OTA method if a previous beta 3 of the update is already installed on them.

Beta 4 of next OS X update for Macs seems to be bringing with it the usual under-the-hood performance improvements for now. It retains the cool new features that 10.11.4 initially introduced: Live Photos support for Messages, password protection for notes in the Notes app, importing from Evernote and more. PS X 10.11.4 beta 4 (15E49a) also gets the ability to allow third-party apps to add music to a user’s iCloud Music Library directly from the device, without the need to use iTunes on a Mac or PC.

watchOS 2.2 beta 4
For the Apple Watch, it is expected to get a new software update and accessories at its rumored March 2016 media event, and with beta 4 of watchOS 2.2 being seeded, it all seems to be caching up nicely. watchOS 2.2 has already brough in a few notable changes to the Apple Watch experience such as the ability to pair with multiple iPhones, new features including a new Nearby function to the Maps app‘s Glance view, and more. Processing into the fourth pre-release, Apple seem to be dwelling in the code of the OS with possible performance improvements and bug fixes instaed of user-facing changes. All changes are not outined officially yet.

On the Apple TV, users gain support for Bluetooth keyboards and the ability to group home screen apps into folders. Apple TV set-top box has had its heart changed with the introduction of tvOS-powered Apple TV 4 complete with an App Store and a developer API for building apps for the television platform. Will also gain voice dictation support with the forthcoming release of tvOS 9.2. The App Switcher improved, and gets support for iCloud Photo Library, although added along with MapKit availability for developers. With tvOS 9.2, Apple is gearing up to introduce a hot of new changes and features to the TV experience as seen in the previous three betas of the firmware. Support for Folders, Siri Ditection, an iOS 9-like App Switcher and much more coming to the set-top box. As for what’s new in beta 4, Apple has snuck in a firmware update for the Siri Remote firmware with enhanced performance for the motion sensor and support for additional sound bar and receiver hardware. Still appears to be an empty, but new “What’s New” section within Settings > System.

Apple has not yet made OS X 10.11.4 beta 4, watchOS 2.2 beta 4 and tvOS 9.2 beta 4 available to public beta testers but it’s only a matter of time before Apple makes them available to those registered in the Apple Public Beta program as well.
