Joining the Lumia 950 in the ranks of Windows 10 phones is the far more stylish NuAns Neo phone – a nifty handset that is customisable, with interchangable upper and lower shells that offer 64 combinations.

The phone costs around US$350 and features a 5-inch, 1280 x 720-pixel display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor.

I had another parcel arrive this morning, this time the nice man from DHL dropped of an Ele Explorer action cam, I have had a quick look in the box and it looks very nice.

The Ele Explorer action cam records up to 4K resolution and comes with a range of mounts and waterproof case in the box along with charger and battery.

For now I have just had a quick look at the menus and then put it on too charge ready for a full review and head to head go-pro face off very soon.

Hot on the heels of the Elephone M1 and M2 all metal business phones comes this bit of Elephone M3 news.

Just like the 2 previous releases Elephone have once again chosen an all metal construction for the body of the M3, looking at the renders its a nice looking handset with 2.5d glass (hopefully the phone will look this good when it is ready to ship out).

What will set this phone apart is the addition of previously flagship only features such as the inclusion of a USB type C charging port and the fact that it will ship with Android os6 Marshmallow.

Not much more is known about the phone except that it will feature a Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and will be available in silver and gold and the price will be just $99 (£66)

Hopefully the screen and cameras on the Elephone M3 will be of decent quality, making this an attractive proposition for a second handset.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and still is waiting for any update to one of the newer versions of Windows, we have bad news for you – on your device officially will settle or Lollipop, or foam.

Trendy headphones company AIAIAI has paired with German dance duo Modeselektor for a pair of new headphones that bear the act’s distinctive monkey logo.

There’s no mincing of words when it comes to their sound – these headphones are “Recommended for bass lovers who like it loud.”

The sets use S73 speakers that incorporate a neodymium magnet, Japanese voice coil and an ultra-lightweight diaphragm.”

Audio Technica updates their gaming headsets with two new models

Gamers now have more options when it comes to choosing a gaming headset, but will Audio Technica’s new improved offerings be enough to win over Turtle Beach and Razer fans?

The two new models are the ADG1x and AG1x headphones, which are both based on existing models from 2013.

The headphones both use large, newly-designed 53mm drivers, reinforced with stronger padding to make using them in a long gaming session more comfortable.

These are wired models, and use a 1.2m cable with a remote for volume.

They’ll be out in time for Christmas, launching December 3 and costing AUD399 (US$290).

PUGZ, the world’s smallest wireless earphones, fail to launch, enraging backers

October’s big Kickstarter drive was for the PUGZ earphones, which were going to be the world’s smallest wireless headphones.

After $1.5m was raised, backers are furious with a message telling them they’ll not be arriving, with the blame placed on Apple.

The PUGZ were supposed to use Apple’s MFI (Made For iPhone) system that charges on the go. As Apple won’t grant PUGZ permission to use this tech so they’re going back to the drawing board.

10,000 backers are now in the lurch, awaiting further updates.

Another solid mid-range option at the right price has come out of camp Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 phone will launch at 899 RMB (US$140) and is a 5.5-inch, 1080p handset that runs on a MTK Helio X10 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16B storage.

If those memory specs don’t quite get you going, however, a variant model will also be released with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, costing a little more at 1,099 yuan.

Also onboard here is a fingerprint sensor on the back, which takes 0.3 seconds to unlock.

It’s powered by a generous 4,000mAh battery, that also has fast-charge support so can get back to 50% charge within an hour.

It’s a metal model and available in gold, silver and dark grey options.

Did you know you can use up unwanted PAYG SIM credit to pay for apps movies and music on Google Play?
I have so far only been able to check that this works in the UK on the following networks EE, O2 and Three.

I had a few free sim cards that had been sent to me buy Three when I renewed my existing contract, companies will often do this if you have others living in your house, as they figure they might get a new customer, if you are not lucky enough to be sent free sims you can also check Poundland as they often have sims with £5 credit for (you guessed it) £1 or keep an eye out on ebay you can often pick up PAYG SIM cards with £5 credit often for £1 or less, making this is a cheap way to buy apps, music and movies.

Below are instructions of how to do it, they are fairly simple to follow.
1. (optional) remove your usual SIM from your phone and insert the SIM with the unwanted credit.
2. Start up your phone and turn on data (even if WiFi is on).
3. Open Google Play, go to My Account, Payment Methods, Add Payment Method, Mobile Billing.
4. Choose whatever paid-for app you want and make sure you select Mobile Billing as the payment method.
5. You can now stick your usual SIM back in your phone but you will still be able to charge apps to your SIM with the unwanted credit. The payment method also shows up in other devices such as tablets.
6. Once your credit has been used up, go to Google Wallet

on your PC and remove the mobile billing facility for that SIM card.
7. Repeat as required!
