Not so long ago NVIDIA introduced the new tablet – SHIELD Tablet K1, which interested parties can purchase on the market for 849 Polish zlotys. But this is not the flagship model as it appeared on the horizon Shield Tablet X1.
NVIDIA Shield Tablet X1 has been added today to the database GFXBench so we have the first information about the implemented components. An image of the latest still tablet will be presented at the same resolution and the same screen diagonal. NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet X1 will therefore be equipped with a display diagonal of eight inches, where Marshmallow Android 6.0 will be presented in WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels), which will result in 275 pixels per inch. For the high performance NVIDIA Tegra will be responsibleX1 – a system dedicated to mobile devices, which debuted at the 2015 CES technology fair in Las Vegas. Used herein 256-core graphics chip Maxwell, as well as eight cores (4x ARM Cortex-A57 + 4x ARM Cortex-A53). The central unit is to be supported by 3 GB of RAM (probably LPDDR4). Data will find their place in the device memory size of 32 GB (user available approximately 25 GB), which is probably at any time can be extended by an additional 128 GB by utilizing the slot for a micro SD card.
