Elephone Ivory Plus B comes with even more LTE bands

Elephone Ivory Plus B comes with even more LTE bands

If you remember the news from around two weeks ago you might recall that Elephone were about to release the Elephone Ivory, a smartphone equipped with the MT6753 SoC, and that it would only cost $99. As it turns out the device will be available shortly in this great price indeed. With that price it actually becomes the cheapest MT6753 device available. But the good news is that Elephone will be releasing a new version called the Elephone Ivory Plus B which will support even more LTE bands.

Elephone Ivory Plus B – Specs

Will the Elephone Ivory Plus B have the same specs and price though? As it turns out, yes, you will still get the same specs for the $99 price. To refresh your memory, the Elephone Ivory Plus B will come with a 5″ 720p display which has a 2.5D curved glass around the edges. Additionally, you get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. As for the cameras, you get a 13MP main shooter, and a 2MP sensor in the front for your selfies.

Elephone Ivory Plus B – More LTE bands

But the news here come from the fact that the Elephone Ivory Plus B will come with support for more LTE bands. The new Plus B variant will support LTE bands 2/4/7/17/38.
Apart from the new LTE bands, the Elephone Ivory Plus B edition will come with the same software as well, since Elephone will ship the device with Android Lollipop. Given the fact the the Elephone P8000 will get an update to Marshmallow though, we wouldn’t be completely surprised if Elephone were to update the Ivory to Android 6.0 as well, since both devices are rocking the same SoC.
So what do you think of the Elephone Ivory Plus B? Is it a phone that you would be interested in now that it comes with more LTE bands support and it may suport 4G in your area?
