Elephone P9000 Lite promises minimum bezels

Elephone P9000 Lite promises minimum bezels

If you are on of those people that value compact smartphones and don’t want to carry around a big device at all times, then you might appreciate Elephone’s latest smartphone. We’re talking about the Elephone P9000 Lite which seems to combine the best from both worlds, with a big 5,5″ inch screen but with very narrow bezels that make it a lot easier to handle than other devices with the same screen size.

Elephone P9000 Lite – Great Screen to body ratio

On of the best smartphones to offer extremely small bezels was the Sharp Aquos Crystal 2, with a screen to body ratio of 77.2%. Elephone claims to have topped that with the Elephone P9000 Lite, which is set to have a 77.7% screen to body ratio! That sounds pretty impressive and we can’t wait to see that in person. We just hope that this means no more black bars will surround the screen of the device.

Elephone P9000 Lite – Specs

The Elephone P9000 Lite not only has a very nice design, but very good specs as well. It will hit the market with a Helio P10 CPU which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, there is a fingerprint scanner at the back (unlike the more expensive Elephone P9000, which has a side mounted scanner), and a USB Type-C port for charging and syncing with your PC. The CPU comes with MediaTek’s fast charging technology, which will allow the Elephone P9000 Lite to charge from 0 to 75% in only 30 minutes. That rapid time is achieved though a 9,5V/2A charger.
If you want to have a reference point on how the Elephone P9000 Lite stacks up to some other smartphones here is a comparison chart to understand just how small the bezels are claimed to be.
