Would love to get this working! Tried on two computers so far but might try more at work tomorrow. Followed all the instructions, but the tool never sees the device – also, to see it, shouldn’t the device notice the computer when Debugging is turned on and ask you to ‘trust’ the device? The computer I tried also seemed to love attempting to install other drivers as well.
Anyway, looking forward to trying more tomorrow.
“Tomorrow” would have been October 20th. No update since!
And nothing new at XDA Developers forum.
Meanwhile, it seems Insignia pushed out another update just three days ago (November 13).
I pawed at one at Best Buy yesterday. Other people saved test videos on it and none of them were better than the one I did from a different unit at a different Best Buy. It’s just shit for video.
The Best Buy on Fifth Avenue in NYC has deprecated tablets. The display moved from the ground floor to below, where notebooks are. The tablets are off in a hard-to-see spot and the selection has also been reduced. This tablet isn’t even on display!
Finally, I’m puzzled by the continued lack of YouTube videos about it.
