Huawei fans waiting for the Huawei 8 Mate launch on November 26 have been given one more option to consider: the Huawei G7 Plus – billed as a direct rival to the HTC Desire 828.
The G7 Plus features Optical Image Stabilization for its 13MP rear camera with RGBW sensor, sapphire lens, focused low light performance and wide aperture.
Elsewhere, the phone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, expandable via microSD.
Also onboard is a fingerprint scanner and enhanced speaker.
It will ship with Android 5.1 installed but will be primed for Android 6.0 Marshmallow upon launch.
The phone will be available in gold, gray and silver price options and is aimed at the mid-range market.
