I have both sizes myself. The 4x3 is for travel/daily work. This one is just fine for most computer work. The medium sized tablet is an Intuos Pro and it has a bit better pressure sensitivity, more express keys and a better "feel" when stylus touches pad. I use this for graphic design work and digital painting. If you were to upgrade, it may be worth it for better pressure sensitivity or express keys, but not entirely necessary for size >do you think it's worth it to upgrade to a bigger tablet? i have a super cheap and tiny tablet (like 4x3) and it gets the job done, i think. should i drop a few dollars for an 8x5? alone.
