What tablet should I buy?

What tablet should I buy?

All I intent to do is watch video and read online books, newspapers and articles. Maybe write a bit.
I am planning to buy a tablet, treating myself for new year :). But then I am in a dilemma whether I need to get iPad Air. Or Samsung's 10.1 or Sony's Experia Z tablet. But these are kinda pricy, and I thing Nexus 10 could do the trick. What do you think about these?
If you had the budget a Cintiq would be a nice choice but they would be considered in the ridiculous price range.

With that said, I have purchased a really cheap tablet in the past that I still use to this day. It cost me $49 and it's really responsive, has some great features with the shortcuts across the top of the tablet and it works perfectly. The major drawback (for me) is that it won't function correctly on Linux right now, I also had a few minor issues in Krita on Windows, which were fixed not too long ago and it's larger drawing surface than the average $199 tablets from wacom by about twice the size. The tablet is a Huion H610 Pro. By now I am sure there are much better versions from the same company and I have to say that if you're on Windows (I haven't tried on a Mac) then you'll be set and you won't break the bank on buying a Wacom device. Oh, and I use this tablet very often with Zbrush myself, it has no issues at all with the responsiveness and accuracy. I can honestly say that I haven't noticed much if any difference from using a wacom tablet vs this Huion one. (If you're on Windows, look into the support for the drivers on the Huion before making a purchase. It works with issues on Linux but I have not upgraded my Windows OS from 8 to 10 so I cannot comment on that, just look into it, but the company responds rather fast so reach out to them if you're interested in those devices.)
