The Hackboard 2 is finally shipping, over two years behind schedule. While that is the case, Hackboard still markets the single-board computer (SBC) as delivering the 'power of a desktop computer' within the size of a smartphone. For reference, the Hackboard 2 measures 120 x 80 mm, making it shorter but wider than most smartphones.
Hackboard adds that the Hackboard 2 remains one of the lowest-priced Intel-powered and Windows-based single-board computers ever made'. Although that may be true, the more powerful LattePanda 3 Delta sells for approximately US$50 less than the Hackboard 2 when configured with 8 GB of RAM. To recap, the Hackboard 2 has the Intel Celeron N4020, which is roughly half as powerful as the Celeron N5105 in the LattePanda 3 Delta.gpu temperature
Additionally, the Hackboard 2 can be configured with 4 GB or 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 64 GB through 512 GB of storage. Moreover, the SBC has a 40-pin GPIO header and twin M.2 slots for connecting up to 4 TB of storage. The Hackboard 2 starts at US$174.95 with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage and Debian Linux pre-installed.
