ON THE FIRST WEEKEND APPLE SOLD 25% FEWER IPHONES THAN A YEAR AGO

Although Apple did not provide sales of new iPhones on the first weekend of sales, but according to the German analytical company sales turned out to be 25% worse than a year ago.
Apple this year decided to keep asekuracyjnie and did not provide the results of recent sales of iPhones after the first weekend. Cupertino giant has decided to have nothing to do with one German analyst firms. According to GfK, in the first weekend Apple sold 25% fewer smartphones the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus than a year ago their predecessors. Last year it was 13 million copies, so now we're talking about. 9.75 million units. So it comes out that the latest generation sold slightly worse than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus (a little over 10 million copies). Of course, it is still a great result, especially for high-end smartphones, but in a situation of continuous growth every drop can be painful, especially for investors. No wonder that Apple has decided to pass over the question of the amount sold to be able to calmly approach the results and prepare a strategy that will be able to pump up sales in the future. How will it end we should learn early in November, and the full details come to us after the New Year. Source: Zero Hedge
