EXYNOS 8895 WITH MALI-G71 CAN BE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE SNAPDRAGON 830

Samsung Galaxy S8 is equipped with Exynos 8895 SoC, which we know more and more. The processor will work with high-performance graphics Mali-G71, which according to the first test defeats GPU Snapdragon 830.

Exynos 8895 has already revealed to us some of their secrets. We already know that Samsung's flagship processor is to be made in 10nm process technology and will be clocked at a maximum clock at 3 GHz. Now Sammobile revealed details about the layout of the SoC.

Samsung once again opt for the direct approach, and implements the latest ARM Mali GPU-G71. It will be clocked at 850MHz and will provide nearly twice the performance of the Mali-T880MP12 the Exynos 8890 (its features, you can check out in our manic test Galaxy S7). According to the first test it is doing it better than the GPU Snapdragon 830, but in this case I find it hard to believe the word as Americans in this field has never forgiven. Compared to the Mali double-T880MP12 also increase the bandwidth (up to 27.2 Gpix / s). The new GPU also uses the architecture of Bifrost and is compatible with Vulkan API, OpenGL ES 3.2 and Android RenderScript. All this is to ensure the highest comfort during use of VR technology and performance guarantees trouble-free operation of the display with a resolution of 4K in to be allegedly equipped Samsung Galaxy S8. Of course, we must remember that this is still just a theory and how it will look like in practice we find out when the Samsung Galaxy S8 (or other smartphone with Mali-G71) will see the light of day and will be able to check for themselves the potential of the new GPU ARM. At the moment, there are indications that they purchased recently by SoftBank has finally passed from defense to counterattack. Source: Sammobile
