IS CHINESE CAMERAS CONQUER THE MARKET?

China's first mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera to swallow making the spring or just a stray. Is there a chance that Chinese cameras gain popularity in the market?

The market of digital cameras among them, mainly from the Asian region. Europe is by Leica for the elect and that actually ends us a list of manufacturers. Now, however, the side door seem to knock the Chinese. Is this the beginning of the Chinese invasion? And if it is at all likely to succeed? Chinese smartphones are doing well in the market, and every day goes to the Polish tens or hundreds of additional models ordered via the portal Aliexpress. Some Chinese brand achieve such a success that it officially goes to Europe. Yesterday gsmManiaK all day live information about entering the Polish market manufacturer Xiaomi. In turn, fotoManiaKu I wrote two days ago about the Chinese bezlusterkowcu YI M1, which was shown at the photokina. The Chinese came in contact several times with the theme of photography. Excels at even Yongnuo company, producing replacements flash for Canon, though recently the lens – 35 mm and 50 mm – they look and act exactly the same as Canon's, but are much cheaper.

None, however, the Chinese company has not tried his hand in the market strictly cameras. YI approaches the topic in a pretty thoughtful way, he does not create its fastening system, but uses the popular Micro 4/3, providing access to a number of lenses from other manufacturers. Because the camera itself initially will be offered only two dedicated lenses. Specifications of the new model shows, however, on average. In terms of the parameters of the camera can satisfy most amateur. But the Chinese YI M1 will be equipped with 4K movie mode. And that is not so obvious in the case of cheap cameras with interchangeable lenses. We do not know yet the price model, but it is possible that the model will become the cheapest camera with interchangeable lenses filmed in 4K. And it just might be its power. The Chinese always tempting price, however, especially in the case of cameras, even the lowest price will not help if you do not go hand in hand with quality. A first sample taken with the camera show that it manages on average. Lack of proper metering, matching the white balance, or matrix poorly coping with higher sensitivities – all this disqualifies the camera no matter how cheap it would not be. But first cats for the fences. Let's wait for new models and more producers – if only now will be willing, for sure they will appear.

Currently camera market is divided among a number of large producers who dictate the standards, but also the price. The emergence of Chinese models, if they are competitively priced, will certainly have a positive impact on the market – of course, from the point of view of the consumer. But everything is based on the fact that Chinese producers have to understand what users expect from cameras and, above all, offer good image quality – because without it will not help. For now, we know that the model YI M1 will cost more than 450 euros, or nearly 2,300 zł – we are talking about the version of kitowym lens. So not so cheap. Maybe it is not a harbinger of Chinese expansion on the market photo? Too bad that was, because if it did with smartphones, why not try and cameras? In the end, we will use the most users.
