Back in April initially for the Chinese market, LeEco formerly known as LeTV announced Le 2 smartphone. The device is now available in India and other markets as well. The device received mixed reviews from critics and gadget geeks. Soon after its release, few critics criticized the new LeExo Le 2 smartphone for having a fragile display screen which cracks easily on the first simple drop.
To solve the issue, the manufacturer went back to the first phase of designing smartphone and that is drawing. On the Drawing board step, the company tried to solve the fragile display screen problem and recently Chinese manufacturer announced that their new Le 2 display panel is now reinforced so that users won’t be facing this kind of issues in future.
Not everyone was ready to accept the reality, in fact, some critics took it as a hook line but a well-known popular technical Guruji YouTube channel has taken the charge to check whether the claim by LeEco is true or it’s just a hook line which will sink later. The videos of the Bend and drop test performed by GuruJi are both uploaded on the YouTube channel of Guruji.
In the first video below, the guys behind Guruji performed a number of drop test to check the strength of LeEco Le 2. Fortunately, the test went pretty good and device passed this test with flying colors and results are quite excellent. After the series of the drop test, the device display screen remains intact which confirms that LeEco statement regarding reinforcing the display of device was accurate.
