BBK is in the development of the new education phone brand known as Imoo. Well, the first phone from the brand was spotted on TENAA today. It was earlier said that the device will look like an iPhone/Vivo hybrid. Well, the device indeed looks like an iPhone/Vivo hybrid in design.
The design gives a glimpse of the Vivo smartphones on the front and the rear shows an inspired iPhone design except the odd design next to the 13MP camera. Well, we do not know whether the odd design is an auto-focus module or is that something else?. According to TENAA, the device comes with a 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a MediaTek P10 chipset, powered by a 2930mAH battery.
The device has a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera, Imoo will run their own custom ROM based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The custom ROM will give some additional features to the device like the "Discipline Sync". The device will also feature a dedicated button for voice recording. The device is expected to come with a price tag of 2000 Yuan($301), and may be launched only inside China. More information about the device will be known in the coming months.
The device looks great in design and specifications, we will have to wait and see whether Imoo, the education phone brand of BBK can achieve something in the Chinese smartphone market.
