Chuwi’s upcoming tablet is probably the biggest tablet out yet of 2016, the Chuwi Hi12 is a 12 inch tablet with a hint of iPad aesthetics, is this an iPad Pro look alike? It seems that way, but the tablet also promises seamless support of both Android and Windows 10 systems. But versions may vary.
The 12 inch display has a 3:2 Display Ratio and a 2160 x 1440 pixels, making it the first Chinese tablet to offer which is similar to the Surface Pro 3. The tablet is also equipped with 4 GB LPDRR3 RAM and 64 GB eMMC Storage at stock with support for TF card expandable storage. One thing is certain, the tablet isn’t a powerhouse, theX5-8300 Cherry Trail Chipset isn’t particularly powerful compared to the Core M. The tablet is a capable machine and perfect for students or those who want to surf the internet and do light tasks. In addition, 11,000mAh LiPO Battery powers this huge tablet.
Judging from the pictures, the tablet has an option for a detachable keyboard viaMagnetic Dock, the tablet will also include Stylus Support, but no information is given on the kind of stylus used. Furthermore, the stylus support will also cost a bit more. The tablet also comes with one standard USB 3.0 and 2.0 Port. The table will come in either Space Gray or Champagne Gold colors.
The Chuwi Hi12 is a great low cost tablet, and currently it is still on presale mode. Two versions are available, a basic version and one with Stylus Support. Although it is stated to support Dual OS, most versions still available are Windows 10 only.
