iNew U8W announced with 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor

The iNEW company is back again with the announcement of a new device named as the iNew U8W. It is an entry-level smartphone which means you should not expect anything spectacular here.

The iNew U8W sports a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MT6580 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone has an 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. You will get 8GB of internal storage which should be expandable. The whole package is powered by a 2500mAh battery which is said to last for one day under moderate usage. It will be shipping with Android Lollipop v5.1.

The phone has been made available in Red, Gold, Rose Gold, and Grey color options. There is no information about the pricing and availability of the phone at the moment.
