BQ AQUARIS X5 PLUS. EUROPE’S FIRST SMARTPHONE WITH GALILEO

BQ, Spanish manufacturer of mobile devices unveiled Aquarius X5 Plus – Europe's first smartphone with support for the Galileo satellite navigation system. But this is not its only advantage.




Spanish producer BQ announced the launch of the new smartonu, which is an upgraded version of the X5 Aquarius. Aquarius BQ X5 Plus comes equipped with a fingerprint reader, efficient SoC, and also offers support for the Galileo satellite navigation system.  Galileo is the European satellite navigation system, which is to be ready by the end of this year ima use 14 satellites in orbit. It is an alternative to the American GPS and the Russian GLONASS. So soon the first users will be able to see how Galileo performs in practice.  But this is not the only advantage the Spanish news, because the BQ Aquaris X5 Plus is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera with Sony IMX298 lens aperture F / 2.0, which is characterized by small size of a single pixel – 1.12μm.
