Today Cricket Wireless released an official statement regarding releasing of a new Alcatel smartphone in the first week of August and the device will be shipped with VR goggles for free. The new upcoming smartphone which Cricket Wireless is planning to release is the Idol 4 device.
The device is packed with 5.2 inches Full HD display with 1920 x1080 pixels screen resolution. An Octa core Soc is ticking the device to perform daily routine tasks with 2GB RAM. The rear primary camera sensor is 13 MP while the front-facing selfie-centric sensor is 8MP.
As being an entry-level smartphone, the device is packed with 16GB internal storage, however, if you want to expand your internal storage it can be expanded using external MicroSD card and a 512GB card is also supported by the device. To keep the device display running a 2610 mAh battery is on board which will make sure the device can survive at least one day on daily usage.
The Android Marshmallow 6.0 is pre-installed as OS on the device. The Idol 4 package doesn’t end here, a free pair of VR headsets is also part of the packaging. This will enhance the gaming and entertainment experience of the Alcatel entry level Idol 4.
The Idol 4 with free VR googles will be hitting Cricket Wireless shelves from Friday, August 5, the device will be up for sale at $199.99 with a user plan on Cricket Wireless network.
