Android Wear update offers WiFi support and more

Android Wear keeps evolving, but Google has had to push some project to the front of the line with the recent announcement of the Apple Watch. The Search Giant has just pushed a significant update to its wearable OS. Namely, the most important improvement is the fact that Android Wear now supports WiFi.
Of course, this is given that the device itself has WiFi. Our friends at Phandroid reached out to LG and found out the LG G Watch doesn’t have support for WiFi at all. Meanwhile, other devices like the LG G Watch R, LG Watch Urbane, Moto 360 and Sony SmartWatch 3 do. Other improvements include support for always-on apps and improved gestures.
Opinion: Is WiFi n Android Wear that important to you? I guess if you like walking away from your phone a lot, but to me it just seems like “something else to worry about”.
