These Syllable D700 Bluetooth 4.0 Earbuds really are the best of both worlds–they’re over the ear and extremely lightweight, but the earbuds are also adjustable so you can be sure you’re going to get a perfectly snug fit regardless of your ear size.  The sound quality is really amazing.

Pairing was super easy, and pairing to multiple devices was quite a bit easier than any of the other headphones I’ve tried out. On other headphones to pair a second device, you need to disable Bluetooth on the first device, and then turn the headphones off, and then hold the power button to enter pairing mode, and *then* pair the device.  With these, disable Bluetooth on the first device, and the headphones automatically entered pairing mode, which saves a step and was pretty convenient. Range and quality of signal is great as well.

The earphones are lightweight at only 18 grams. The ear clips are made of a soft, pliable plastic, they hook around the ears. The earpieces are on rotatable swivels which makes it easier to find a comfortable fit. The ear cups are made of a very soft rubber or silicone material, and comes with 3 pairs, small, medium and large. It’s very easy to swap the ear cups around. I find these earphones very comfortable to wear, and they haven’t fallen out while I’ve been using them.

The two earphones are connected by a 29 inch long, rubberized cable, with a 2mm diameter. A USB to mini-USB lead is provided that is 5 inches long. The control unit for the earphones is located about 5 inches away from the bottom of the right earpiece.

The control unit has push buttons for volume up and down/track shuttle backwards and forwards, and accept call – the earphones have a built-in microphone so that you can take calls from your smartphone. There’s also a multi-function button for power on-off and Bluetooth pairing. You plug the mini-USB end of the supplied lead into the control pad, and the USB end into the USB input socket of your desktop PC, laptop or USB compatible socket plug.
A small LED on the control unit lights up red when charging, and then switches off once fully charged. It takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for a full charge from flat. Fully charged the earphones will give you roughly 4 to 5 hours of listening/talk time.

These wireless earphones have a unique design which makes it perfect for high intensity activities.  The earphones have an over the ear design with an adjustable earphone position and angling.  This means more comfort over the long-term. It is also far more secure that just earbuds or inner lobe supports if you are involved in some heavy intensity work outs. The wire is generous in length, but has a cinch so that you can close down on extra wire length if you want to prevent the wires from getting in the way of your workout.

Pairing is very easy.  The call button is simple to use and functions easily on both phones. The function buttons work on all of my devices. The buttons have been consolidated to minimize the profile of the control hub. A single press changes track and a long press changes audio.

A micro USB cable for charging is included. The battery on this device easily lasts 6-7 hours of normal music.  Charging is extremely fast, taking only about 1.5 hours.

They are very comfortable in your ear and for me, that’s a huge plus. They loop over your ear and are so comfortable, you don’t even know you have them on. You can swap out the ear bud piece to fit your ear as well – they give you a few extra pair too which is always nice.
For talking on the phone, they are just perfect. The built-in mic provides perfect sound translation. There are 3 buttons that are raised to adjust the volume so you don’t have to see what you are doing, you can feel the buttons and adjust your sound easily.
