Evolution of the successful models is a pretty common practice more or less everywhere so its not a big surprise that Chuwi keeps on polishing the very good Chuwi Hi12. No it’s not the first Chuwi with Skylake Core-M processor, that still remains as a wet dream, but still the Chuwi Hi12 Stylus looks pretty good.
Everything stays almost the same as the previous dualboot version of Hi12, but on top of that we get a screen with stylus support and new accessory for it in form in active chipset Chuwi HiPen H1, which supports 256 pressure sensitivity levels. It’s probably not on Wacom quality level, but looks good nonetheless.
To recap the Hi12 specs, interesting 12-inch 3:2 aspect ratio screen with 2160×1440 pixels resolution , Intel Atom X5-Z8300, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB eMMC storage, 11000 mAh battery, two full sized USB 3.0 ports and dualboot Android 5.1/Windows 10.
Chuwi Hi12 Stylus should be available in stores quite soonish with official price tag of 299$ and the interesting thing is official global market availability worldwide. But with no further details it’s hard to say how Chuwi plans to pull that off.
