BlackBerry Classic available this week from Verizon
Are you missing those amazing keyboards and simple form factors BlackBerry was so famous for? If so, you may be happy about the BlackBerry Classic (unlike me), a device that incorporates all the great things about older BlackBerries and new technology.
This phone has been available straight from BlackBerry for a while, and AT&T recently released it too, but now it’s time for Verizon subscribers to get in on the fun. Big Red will start selling the BlackBerry Classic online starting February 26th, which is this Thursday. You can get it in stores starting March 5th.
In case you forgot, specs include a 3.5-inch 720p display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 16 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM, 8/2 MP cameras, and a 2500 mAh battery. The full price is still unknown, but we can assume it will be close to the $449 retail price BlackBerry has it for. You can get it for just $99.99 if you are willing to sign a 2-year contract.
Opinion: Better late than never, right? This phone should be a beauty if you are a fan of the older BlackBerries. I will stick with my modern smartphones, though.
