Zenfone 3 Deluxe for the Asian countries will rather be powered by SD821 not SD823

Recently we reported that Asus is planning to release one more variant of its top-end smartphone Zenfone 3 Deluxe and it will be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-come Snapdragon 823 processor targeted for the Asian countries. However, a new speculation coming from some promotional material of the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe suggests that the device would rather be fueled by Snapdragon 821 processor.
Furthermore, the spotted listing also reveals that the processor will run at a clock speed of 2.3GHz. This suggests that the SD821 is a slightly upgrade over the SD820 that is clocked at 2.15GHz only. Rest of the specifications is same; SD821 also has a 14nm manufacturing node and Adreno 530 GPU.
We are yet to gather more information on the same as previous rumors suggested a SD823 processor instead. IHS analyst Kevin Wang conveyed earlier today that the flagships of the second half of 2016 will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and not Snapdragon 823. So, there are more smartphones in the queue to get powered by SD821 processor. The best part is, the processor got a slightly upgrade over its predecessor. So, the Asian countries would find themselves lucky as they will get a little best power in their Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
These are just the rumors for now and we are committed to receive more information on the same. So, stay tuned.
