Since we launched our metallic device Ulefone Tiger the past Monday, many people have asked us if the 4200mAh Sony li-polymer battery can be exchanged by users since the metal unibody, often called battery cover, is removable.
Here we need to explain that we have adopted removable back cover to allow for 2 SIM cards and 1 SD card working at the same time, since it is hard to enable that on a side-mounted SIM tray which is inevitable with non-removable back cover. As for the non-removable battery, a devoted chipset has been attached to the battery to control the input and output, while users may detach them if the battery was user-removable.
