MAGIC HUAWEI AND XIAOMI STOPS WORKING – AT LEAST IN CHINA

In Poland fans Chinese smartphones missing, and most of them puts on proposals Huawei and Xiaomi. Meanwhile, in China, these companies sold in the last quarter, less than smartphones … Oppo and Vivo.

Smartphones from China enjoy considerable popularity among Poles and their fans can be divided roughly into three groups. The first of them, which will not be the subject of our discussion, puts on brands like Umi, Cubot or Ulefone (or something even more exotic), or on the Polish B-brandy likes myPhone if Krüger & Matz. The second group, which can be seen primarily in the comments on networking technology, is delighted well-equipped smartphones Xiaomi, offered at equally great prices. There is still a third group, that is, the owners of smartphones from Huawei, bought in shops or at the operators, mainly due to their attractive price and increasingly broader marketing campaigns manufacturer. Until recently, it looked like the situation in China, but at some point everything turned 180 degrees … China is the largest smartphone market in the world, which is by the way very specific. In the Middle Kingdom there is a huge competition and many freaks certainly would like to have a similar choice in Polish stores. However, even if there were, frankly, I doubt we followed the road, they have chosen their own Chinese people, who once went crazy for Xiaomi and Huawei, and now the power of buying smartphones … Oppo and Vivo. According to the latest report on smartphone sales in China in the third quarter of this year, it is the Oppo and Vivo were on the first two places, with a share of 16.6 and 16.2 percent. Compared to the same period of the previous year, growth reached 6.7 and 8 percentage points, which is really impressive. At the same time, Huawei boasted a 15% share, and Xiaomi has fallen to 10.6%, losing a year-over-year, up 4 percentage points.

What is the phenomenon Oppo and Vivo in China? The answer seems to be simple – their smartphones offer exactly what you expect local customers, namely the similarities to the iPhone, slim frame, good on paper, cameras and a sense of exclusivity, potęgowanego fairly high price.
