Popular website iFixit takes a magnifying glass next device from Apple. This time the demolition and analysis lived to see the largest of the tablet – iPad Pro model.
After an interesting discovery concerning the components used in the iPhone SE, iFixit takes to be the next fixture of the American company. This time on the table servicemen hit latest iPad Pro, which proved to be the surprise in several respects. From the very beginning of the service engineers they assumed that the new tablet of the Cupertino company may be natural "descendant" devices such as the iPad Air 12 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. However, it appears that Apple has decided to do quite unusual move up and took advantage of the space available inside the device making it very difficult to repair. Unlike its larger, 12.9-inch brother, the smaller of the models have cables connecting the display to the motherboard at the bottom edge of the casing. When removing the cover, which cover the main board can be removed from the battery and moveable top speakers – two elements communicate with the motherboard by means of spring contacts. Servicing of iFixit discovered, however, that in practice most of the elements located inside the machine are bonded by an adhesive gun, making the equipment very difficult to repair. Not from today, Apple treats its tablet as "one unit", which can not be repaired or safe to open. In most cases, the company simply decides to replace the entire unit to a new and not attempt to repair individual components.
