Riva Audio has given a sneak preview of the upcoming little brother of its Turbo X speaker, the Riva S.
Launching in November, the Riva S features three full-range, custom-tuned 40mm ADX drivers and four custom dual-piston bass radiators, fed from a 30W amp.
That will all be put to good use thanks to its AptX audio technology that’ll support hi-res files and it uses Trillium audio processing to bulk out the sound without heavy-handed compression.
The battery life is a noteworthy 13 hours and it will keep on going in moderately choppy conditions thanks to its IPX4 water resistance rating.
Two models can be linked via the TrueWireless, it has a dual-mic system for calls and incorporates Capacitive Touch controls.
It also has a phono EQ mode for connecting record players and the big battery can also be used to charge devices.
The Riva S will launch first in the US and will cost $249.99.
