Lenovo has quietly started taking the pre-orders for its new P70 smartphone


Lenovo P70Lenovo has quietly started taking the pre-orders for its new P70 smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone was originally introduced in the Chinese market in February this year and comes with a mammoth 4000 mAh battery on-board. Lenovo claims that battery was offer talk-time of upto 46 hours.
The company has priced the P70 at INR 15,999 and it can now be ordered from Lenovo’sThe Do Store. It will start shipping on April 14.
Lenovo P70 sports a 5-inch 720p HD display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and dual-SIM support.
Among other specifications, Lenovo has included a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, 5MP fixed-focus front shooter, and 4G LTE support.
On the software front, P70 runs on Android 4.4, but Lenovo has promised to provide the Lollipop update of the smartphone in the Q2, 2015.
The smartphone will compete with the likes of XOLO Q3000 and Intex Aqua Power HD smartphones in the country, both of which also come with 4000 mAh battery.
